Dr. LoPresti graduated from Brown University and West Virginia University with postdoctoral training at the University of California at Los Angeles. In addition to operating a private practice in Fair Haven on the Jersey Shore, he is an attending psychologist at Monmouth Medical Center and has frequently lectured or led workshops at Brookdale and Ocean County Colleges. He is a former University of Nebraska at Omaha assistant professor of psychology. Together with his wife, he lives in Fair Haven, New Jersey.
Dr. LoPresti's training has encompassed many different modalities including behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, Neurofeedback, EMDR therapy, Imago Relationship Therapy, Thought Field therapy, Emotional Freedom Techniques, Harm Reduction, Brainspotting, alcohol and substance abuse, Internal Family Systems (IFS), hypnotherapy with NLP, mindfulness training (MBSR), Grief Processing, Deep Brain Reorienting, and Integration after Trauma and Integration after psychedelic experiences and others.
